URA off to a winning start

URA's Feni Ali brace was enough to give the Ugandan side a deserved 2-0 win over 2011 finalists Simba in an entertaining Cecafa Kagame Cup match played on Sunday evening at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Feni broke the deadlock with an ice cool finish in the tenth minute beating keeper Juma Kasseja after a beautiful lob by Oscar Agaba.
URA continued pilling pressure but Simba defense of Haruna Shamten,Amir Maftah and Obadiah Mungusa remained resilient thwarting moves by Feni Ali.
Simba picked up in the second half with Kanu Mbiyavanga running rings around the URA defence but Derrick Walulya stood firm thwarting every move.
However in added time Feni Ali got the better of his marker to head past a hapless Kasseja to seal the win for the Ugandans.
